Learning Outcomes

Upon Completion the Participants will have gained the following:

  1. Learn how to assess and recognize shifts in their own vagal tone
  2. Know where the vagus access sites are on the body
  3. Understand the vagus nerve trends and theories, both over the last 20 years and present day
  4. Recognize the signs, symptoms, and diagnoses involving the vagus nerve with their patients
  5. Learn the anatomy of CNX, embryological development, reflexes, and functions
  6. Become confident assessing the vagus nerve
  7. Treat the vagus nerve through various modalities: lymphatically, fascially, with craniosacral therapy, and through osteoarticulations (MET)
  8. Practice and experience vagal self-care methods, for the therapist and the patient
  9. Understand the Social Engagement System, HPA Axis, Gut-Brain, and Heart-Brain involvement with the CNX
